Safeguarding

The welfare of our children is at the heart of everything we do. 

At Menston Preschool we are committed to keeping children safe from harm and 

protecting their health and well-being. This allows all our children to learn and develop in a positive, nurturing environment. Our aim is to support children to grow into confident, happy and healthy adults.

We believe that safeguarding is everybody’s responsibility, and all staff should have the knowledge to enable them to respond to any concerns about the welfare of a child. Our Designated Safeguarding Leads (DSL) understand safeguarding procedures and attend regular safeguarding training. We also ensure all staff are fully up to date through in-house training and follow our safeguarding policy.
